Charles and Donna Sweitzer, Co-Founders
Founded by Charles and Donna Sweitzer in 1994, ETSS has offered quality NAB-approved continuing education opportunities for Long Term Care Administrators, Assisted Living Administrators and Directors of Nursing across the United States.The Sweitzers’ mission is to help the community through education and kindness. Together they participated in a local program providing a loving, safe harbor to at-risk teens around their hometown of Garner, NC. The Sweitzers also opened their home and hearts to friendships made through ETSS. A gifted artist in paint and sculpture, Charles also gave back to the community in his own right, teaching art classes to seniors through the North Carolina Department on Aging. It was due to this contact with seniors that the Sweitzers were inspired to focus ETSS on education related to aging. Through the Sweitzers’ vision, over 30,000 NAB-approved continuing education units have been awarded to over 2,000 attendees.
Mary Ann Hanson, Partner
This goal allows participants to enjoy a “perfect combination” of education and family vacation. Past sites include Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Branson, Maui, Washington, DC and Bermuda.
In 2015 the Sweitzers partnered with Mary Ann Hanson. Mary Ann holds a MS in Gerontology and a MS in Nursing, is dually licensed as an assisted living administrator and nursing home administrator and is a registered nurse. Mary Ann began attending ETSS Seminars in 1994 and has attended seminars in Myrtle Beach and Las Vegas.
